Do you love animals? Few things will give you as much satisfaction as caring for homeless dogs and cats. And because this is a no-kill shelter, coming to work here is a joyful experience.

You’ll be able to watch wonderful transformations happen as abandoned pets receive love and attention from our staff, volunteers, and veterinarians, and are adopted out to loving homes.

Shifts are available in the mornings and evenings, seven days a week. The shelter is closed in the afternoons.

Due to issues of liability we limit our volunteers to 16 years of age and up. I use the word limit because we would love to have young people of all ages, however we are not set up for that. The Brandon Humane Society is very grateful to everyone that considers volunteering at our Shelter. For those under 16 years of age that still wish to help please call the Shelter and we can offer some other suggestions.
