Burnaby

BURNABY - Collie Cross, Neutered Male
Born: April 2009
Currently in foster care.
At present Burnaby is being boarded at The Brandon Boarding Kennel. He is a young active boy with boundless energy and lots of love to give. He is not for a couch potato type owner. He prefers an active family that will suit his lifestyle. However at the end of the day I am sure he would gladly curl up on the couch with you. Likes other dogs.

keelie

KEELIE - Husky/Shepherd Cross, Spayed Female
Born: October 15, 2009
Arrived at Shelter: Decmeber 6, 2009
Keelie is a wonderful dog. She and her 3 sisters came to us from a northern community. They are lovely dogs. They have a very gentle disposition, and will make a wonderful pet for anyone. They are husky/shepX so they will be a larger breed. They get along very well with the other dogs. Keelie or any of her sisters would be a great addition to any family.

kayla

KAYLA - Shepherd Cross, Spayed Female
Born: August 20, 2009
Arrived at Shelter: November 11, 2009
Kayla was rescued from a northern community where she was found a stray, along with her brother and 3 sisters. She is a very bright young dog who absolutely loves to play. She has learned how to sit and is a very smart dog. She enjoys playing with all sorts of toys - especially really squeaky ones and can be found curled up on a blanket chewing her favorite bone. Her brothers and sisters sometimes pick on her. She is a little timid - the very opposite of her 4 siblings. Kayla loves getting all the attention she can get and enjoys giving kisses!

emma

PRADA - Shepherd Cross, Spayed Female
Born: August 20, 2009
Arrived at Shelter: November 11, 2009
Prada and her 4 siblings came to the shelter as strays from a northern community. She is a very adventurous young dog who is very curious about absolutely everything. She is quite the mischievous dog but enjoys getting spoiled! She loves to play with toys, but is still learning how to share! She is growing to be a fair size dog and will need lots of exercise and attention as she has tons of energy! And although she is already a good size, she still likes to think she is a lap dog!

Alana

ALANA - Shepherd Cross, Spayed Female
Born: February 27, 2008
Arrived at Shelter: May 28, 2008
Alana came to us as a stray when she was just a 3-month-old puppy. She gets along absolutely wonderfully with all the other dogs. She is very patient with puppies and actually has so much fun playing with them out in the back yard. Alana is a very polite and well-behaved dog. She is simply a sweetheart. Alana has been with us for two years now and although the shelter feels like home to her, she is ready for a home and a family of her very own.

Meg

MEG - Lab Cross, Spayed Female
Born: October 5, 2006
Arrived at Shelter: February 3, 2007
Meg is an absolute beautiful dog. She came to the shelter when she was a four-month-old puppy and has lived there for a couple of years now. She was a stray puppy who was rescued from a northern community. Meg does have a worried and nervous side to her, where she does appear to be quite skittish. However, she has come a long way in the past couple of years. When meeting someone new or someone who hasn't spent a lot of time with her, she may seem a bit uneasy. When she gets to know someone really well, she learns she can trust them and will become a very warm-hearted and affectionate dog. She will truly open up to you and you'll get to know the really fun loving and comical side of Meg! She absolutely loves sitting in peoples laps and will even roll around just being a happy dog while getting attention. She loves to smile and give kisses and one of her favorite pastimes is playing fetch with her rubber ball. Meg is such a sweetheart. She is waiting for a family who will fall in love with her one day (hopefully soon!), make her a part of their family, and love her unconditionally with all their hearts combined!
