MISTER YOU
Male Orange Tabby, 8 years old
My husband and myself are presently waiting for a Seniors assisted living
apartment in Brandon and we have a 8 year old Orange Tabby. Neutered Male and he
is very loveable friend. We need to find him a good home before we move or we
have to put him down. He loves to be brushed and he can also tell you what he
wants if you pay attention to his needs. He is not that hard to please at all
and all he needs is for some one to love him and respect his needs.
His name is Mister You, shoe, chew, etc. etc. (anything that rhymes with You,
but only when he is in the mood for this type of attention, it simply is the
same joy as calling someone you love honey, sweetie etc. etc.) He is looking
for a loveable home with older children about 8 years and up. Mister You is
truly a gentle soul and he will be your faithful friend. This is a ASAP
(urgent) request. Please e-mail rossa@mts.net

Mom and 3 Kittens
On Friday Sept 19 this lovely pure white cat (I call her Snowflake) wondered into
my Wawanesa backyard. And since then has moved in with her 3 kittens. She was
extremely under weight when she arrived. She is very friendly and affectionate,
she will come to me when I call and gently purrs as I feed her. Her 3 kittens
are approx 6-7 weeks of age, as she is still nursing them however they are eating
hard food as well. Two of the kittens are identical pure white with a small grey
patch on their foreheads. The other one is mostly grey with some white spots.
The Mama cat is still really young at approx 1 year old. If interested in
giving one these kitties a loving responsible home please contact Jessica at
824-3420.

Sadie & Ceasar
6 & 5 Years Old
SADIE is a six-year-old spayed, long-haired grey tabby cat who was adopted from
the Winnipeg Humane Society when she was a kitten. She is very friendly and
especially likes girls. She loves to be groomed, talked to and have long naps.
She is timid of children, but would never hurt them. She is a bit overweight,
but still extremely playful.
CEASAR is a five-year-old neutered, long-haired grey tabby cat who was found in
a shed in Winnipeg hiding from two dogs. He ABSOLUTLEY loves everyone, so much
that at times he forgets that he is a cat and not a person. He loves to play,
lay around on his back all day staring out the window, and feet. Yes… feet, he
is purrfectly happy to lay on the floor mat by your shoes all day just smelling
them! He is also overweight. I guess running from those dogs was tiring so he
decided to take it easy for a few years!
Both cats can be given away together or separately, we just hope that they will
go to a good home. We are doing renovations and will not have a home they can
live in for a few months. They have only been indoor cats since we have had them,
but I am sure they would love to be outside if supervision is available.
If anyone is interested please call 204-868-5888 or 204-868-5643. Both cats
have carriers and food, which will go home with them.

Nell & Ginger
Spayed Females, 1 1/2 years old
Nell is a lovely, grey and white long-haired girl. She was dumped in
minus 30 degree weather in January and got badly frost-bitten paws as
a result. She has now completely recovered and is healthy and happy.
She is a gentle, affectionate girl who loves to play and cuddle and
who has never met a drawer she didn't want to root through. Nell has
had her shots and will make a dear friend.
Ginger, who is an orange
and white short-hair, was also abandoned last winter, but fortunately
did not get frostbite. She is a small energetic cat with an outgoing
personality who loves to play and cuddle. Ginger has also had her shots.
She and Nell often play together and get along well. If you can give
either of these girls a permanent home, please call Lynn at 728-5865.

MOLLY & JACK
6 & 4 years old
MOLLY was given to us, and we're not exactly sure of her age, but the vet has estimated that she's
about 9 years old. She is a beautiful black and white kitty. She is THE most affectionate, loyal,
loving cat I've ever met...she can't get enough of your attention, she's just the sweetest. She has
never been around kids, but I think she'd most likely ignore them or hide from them, until she got
to know them.
JACK is an 8 year old orange tabby cat. He's very independent, he sort of just does his own thing,
and when he feels like it ... he can be pretty loving too. He's got a real personality, he's very
funny. He's not as outwardly loving as Molly, but he will absolutely capture your heart.
Both cats had lived on our farm north of Brandon, and were indoor/outdoor cats... we've recently
moved to the city, and they have not lost their love for hunting and exploring outdoors. This is
unfortunate because they're wonderful pets, but it's just not fair or realistic to have them in town.
These two could go together or separate. Both cats have up to date shots and are fixed.
I could only give up these 2 to a wonderful, loving home...I really don't want to give them up at all,
but the city is not for them! If either of them didn't work with your family, we would defnitely
take them back. Please contact my by email: erin_s_16@hotmail.com or call me at 761-2713.

Devon
2 years old
Hello my name is Devon. I am 2 years old and like to be the center of attention. I am up to date on all
my shots and am neutered. I have two brothers that I live with currently we get along great but they do
not like to always play with me. I have been marking my territory to show that I am the head of the
house. I have been told by vets I would do well as an only pet. I am good with children and love to
cuddle. Please contact homelesshounds_2003@yahoo.com for more information.

KIKO
Male, 2 years old
Kiko Rodriguez is a 2-year-old neutered longhaired cat with up to date vaccinations. He has been
with us since he was 2 months old because his previous owner was not expecting kittens and was
going to send him to the pound. He is still a playful cat, and loves to get his exercise with
balls to chase. He's a bit like an enfant, in that after playing for a couple hours, he likes to
have a snack and curl up for a nap for a couple hours. He loves playing with my 4-year-old
daughter, however he can play too hard when she gets him going, and he'll bring out his claws.
I feel he would be best going to a home with children - but maybe not toddlers, as he isn't used
to little ones anymore. Kiko is very scared of dogs, as he's only been introduced to two of them,
and hid from both of them for hours. Hey may come around if introduced over long periods of time,
however. I hate to give him up, but our living arrangements have changed, and my new roomate is
highly allergic to cats. I need to find a new home for our Kiko before he can move in. Kiko has
been a loyal part of our family for two years now, and we will miss him dearly. We can be
contacted at h_drader@hotmail.com or at (204) 573-4716.
